A Day Filled with Culture: My Experience at Collège Fleming and ESSTIC
On February 7, 2020, I had the honor of attending two incredible events, both deeply rooted in culture and heritage. The first was at Collège Fleming, where I had the privilege of serving as a jury member for the Miss Culture competition. This school, where I spent seven formative years during my secondary education, invited me back to contribute to an initiative that celebrates the richness of our cultural heritage.

It was an honor to be invited as a jury member for the Miss Culture competition at Collège Fleming, an institution that played a significant role in shaping my academic journey. Promoting culture from an early age is an essential part of children's education, and this event embodied that spirit beautifully. I would like to extend a special thanks to the principal of Collège Fleming, who dared to organize this celebration within the school, giving students the opportunity to express themselves in their mother tongue, dress in their traditional attire, and even perform traditional dances.
Being part of this event allowed me to contribute my advice and share insights with the younger generation, many of whom I had worked alongside during my time at the school. This opportunity to reconnect with the youth and witness their passion for their culture was truly touching. It was a moment of immense joy and pride.

Cultural Celebration at ESSTIC: #BackToRoots
Later in the day, I had the pleasure of attending the Back to Roots event at ESSTIC, my current school, after much anticipation. This event was a remarkable display of our cultural diversity, where traditional dances, local dishes, and various aspects of our heritage were celebrated in grand style. It was a wonderful experience to see how our culture continues to thrive and be appreciated by the youth.
